It's been said that the first year of marriage is when you learn who it is you married. One would think that living together before getting married should take care of this. It didn't for me.
It's also said that she gets married hoping he'll change, he gets married hoping she'll stay exactly the same, and both hope in vain.
Once living together, what is the point of getting married?
In Canada? Not much. In 'murica? Insurance, inheritance, power of attorney, etc.
