Lowered Ability Scores

1st Ed. D&D question (or HackMaster v4.)

I was about to ask what happens when a character's ability scores fall below the minimum for a class. Do they lose the class?

i.e. If a Magic User becomes too stupid to be a Magic User (e.g. Int falls below 9), do they cease to be a Magic User? If the Wisdom falls below 9 do they cease to be a Cleric.

I couldn't actually find a rule outside of initial character creation minumums.

Then my attention was drawn to the ability table for Wisdom in HackMaster and they listed chance of spell failure for scores below 9.

Tracy's HackMoor Campaign 2016/03/14

Games are on Monday night sometime after 5:30PM at World's Best Comics, 9714 Warwick Blvd Newport News, Virginia 23601.

We skipped another week due to personal issues. There shall be no placeholder report for 7 March.

This time we had a combo-pizza and found out to my dismay I have another dietary requirement from one of my Players for no green peppers. In addition to our other Player requirements of: 1) No pepperoni, 2) no veggies, 3) no anchovies. Although requirements 1) and 2) were waived because certain Player's with those requirements were not present at the time.

Yarns Knot? Not me!

One thing I've never understood as a knitter is fiber snottery. I don't understand it so thoroughly that I had to make up my own word!

I love a good ball of purple super saver acrylic as much as I love a skein of soft blue baby llama.

C3K: What are we reclaiming?

This chapter was not much fun to read. I'm not certain how well I followed it but I know that I do not want to read it again.
Rape, emasculating homosexual rape... It wasn't sexy or fun, just disturbing and nausea inducing. The vengeance was swift and victorious.
After the shocking part, a supporting character tries to regain his manhood and our protagonist seems to become very attached to him.

I'm glad this chapter is over and hope the next one is better. Perhaps it's time to take a break and read one of Robert Aspirin's Myth books.

Feeling like a Basket-case

I noticed the section beside my couch was getting taken over by yarn projects and tools. I have a small basket there right now but it was overflowing with many things, including a blue blanket WIP, making it look as if it was crying blue fibre-y tears.

I found a pattern on ravelry for a Rectangular Basket , I figured it was a sort of poetic justice if I used yarn that was causing part of the mess to make a basket to organize the mess.

I worked on this basket for a good 4 hours, using up all my grey yarn. (50 shades of grey basket?)

Knitting Pattern: The Knitful Eight:Bob's Scarf

This is part two of my Hateful Eight series.

This time we're looking at Bob The Mexicans lovely ribbed scarf.

I used Redheart Super Value yarn in Grey Ragg, it was the closest colourway I could find in my stash that matched Bob's scarf.

It's a squishy, cozy, ribbed scarf that goes on forever!

Tracy's HackMoor Campaign 2016/02/29

Games are on Monday night sometime after 5:30PM at World's Best Comics, 9714 Warwick Blvd Newport News, Virginia 23601.

For BlackMoor followers, this adventure can be triangulated starting at the crossroads between the Regent of the Mines, The Black Hills, and Fairfield Abbey. Consider Tharp and Nulb to be unmarked towns.

This time one of the players bought several pizzas. According to the rules, this earned his character an Honor point.

W.I.P's and Carpal Tunnel

I've had ALOT of extra time on my hands lately, so I've spent most of it knitting and crocheting.

As a result my hands have been going numb and tingly when I go to bed at night. That means it was a goooood days work!

C3A: *Rocks back and forth*

The first big action scene in this chapter left me feeling queasy. I was glad they only implied the violence mostly but it left me a bit speechless .

The title of the chapter should've been an indication of what was to come.

It seemed like both Estri and Dellin were broken a bit in this chapter. The interaction between the two for the rest of the chapter was a total 180 of how it was originally.

Dellin is now arrogant and demanding, while Estri is humble and needy.
