[SSH] Overestimating Communication - Kersus - 05-08-2014 An interesting article: Couples sometimes communicate no better than strangers, study finds. I've also attached (hopefully) the appropriate study on the topic referred to in the article. It's not just couples but friends, co-workers, etc.... anyhow, I thought it interesting that we assume someone close to us has the knowledge we do and thus we don't give enough information. in couples this leads to the telepathy issue (why don't you just know what I'm thinking?) but with friends, it may not take into account the rambling talker who always gives waaaay too much information. Thoughts? |
