Me, I think BK has the best chain coffee around here locally. Private Cafe's are far superior as are private restaurants and pizza places to their chain equivalents, but in the chains, I'd be sad to see Timmy's selling coffee in BK although the current word is they won't do that.
BK has also dramatically improved in this area over the last year or so. The food is better, the service is leagues better, and the restaurants have cleaned up and look beautiful.
Timmys is Timmys. Lumberjack coffee and hit and miss menu items along with decent doughnuts.
Who will actually be in the driver's seat? BK may buy TH, but will TH flip it around and take control ala Indigo/Chapters?
TH gains aid in a world market they struggle with. BK gains Canada.
