Okay, We have a vote for the Tabletop Gaming Chat being separate from Endless Blanket. Any naysayers? I want to keep this focused, but I did ask for a reason as the tabletop talk does seem a little out of place in the general chat.
Also, it will cost me about $125 to export the freeforum database. I'm hmming and hawing. It's less about the money and how after getting the database I can include it here as a nice archive. There are some amazing threads and Q&As there I don't want to lose. I never plan on shutting that forum down, but may lock and archive it all.
Here are my problems. Can I, after getting the database, move only certain forums from the board into this one. Same goes with the Vanilla one although there are less threads to worry about. The Vanilla requires me to recreate the Vanilla forum, restore the backup, transfer it to SMB, and the transfer it to MyBB. Now I have to do all this transferring without messing up this forum. Soooo, I might export this forum to a new directory as a test and pull both of the other forums into it as well and see what happens. I'm leary because I may spend the $$ and simply not be able to do it. This is a large project for me and I have some web design that is a paying gig to complete. Any thoughts?
