RAID
#1
Maybe I'm a luddite, but why use Raid 1 on a home computer? Specifically a software Raid?

Won't boot.... Turn off Raid in Bios, boots fine....  Hmmmm.... If I create a new Raid, does it delete all the data?

Dell was a good company to work for until Michael Dell came back and sent our jobs to the Philippines.

The computer in question was an Alienware.... er... XPS. Get it? Because instead of innovating they just bought Alienware and rebranded their stuff XPS and pawned it off as Dell Innovation. It also has over 320GB of data that is all documents with a few pictures.

Still.... Software Raid? Why? A backup solution would have been far better.
