This is one of the few drinks where I have completed multiple tastings. You might wonder why, especially when it seems as though I may not like it. Well, I'm not entirely sure except that I'm a little fascinated by this ale. I like to find the optimal drinking circumstances for some drinks. Should it be ice cold, slightly chilled, warm, bottled, canned, etc? So here goes my fifth tasting.

First three tastings.
Fourth tasting.
Comments from @Archergirl - She thought it smelled like a skunk tooted in it and described the colour as molasses. "Oh god it's awful, it tastes like brown. My tongue is crying." Her mouth hated me afterward.
Spitfire in a Can
The can opens with nary a sound. No "spoosh" or anything like that yet it still pours with it's negligible head.
It appears like a red amber with some coppery colouring and smells of moderate hops.
The initial bitterness makes you think it will mask the rest of the flavours and then each one hits you like right and left hooks as this beer fires on all cylinders.
Relatively heavy, it gets more bitter as you imbibe and the many flavours start to focus on shooting you down. There is very little carbonation in the canned version.
It's something you won't forget and may turn the tide in any internal war.
The affectionate beer.
...Okay, that's just for me. For you? How about...
The ailing dogfight!
