24? I'll be back later with an answer. It's going to take some thought.

It isn't an easy question to answer. I use 24 because it gives a fair amount of wiggle room so you don't have to pick between just a few. Plus my one display case holds 24 Smile

In no particular order, despite the ordinality:

1. Harold and Maude
2. M*A*S*H
3. The Incredibles/Wall-E
4. Rashamon/Yôjinbô/Ran/Shichinin no Samurai/etc.
5. Annie Hall
6. Monty Python's Life of Brian
7. Airplane!
8. The Blues Brothers
9. The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension
10. Escape from New York/The Thing/Big Trouble in Little China
11. Blade Runner (the original theatrical release is fine, even with the voice-over. Later cuts that tried to imply that Decker is a replicant can burn.)
12. Star Wars/The Empire Strikes Back/(first half of) Return of the Jedi
13. The Graduate
14. The General
15. Repo Man
16. Brazil
17. Raising Arizona/Fargo/Blood Simple/The Big Lebowski/etc.
18. A Christmas Story
19. Hairspray/Serial Mom
20. The Usual Suspects
21. Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
22. Alien
23. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid/The Sting
24. Children of Men
24a. Support Your Local Sheriff (I miss Rockfish)

What about Escape from LA? The Thing and Big Trouble are excellent.

Escape from LA had some really good moments, but over all it doesn't measure up.

Fiasco? No I have not heard of it before. Just looked at the website and it seems interesting.

I'm not sure how playable Fiasco is without pissing people off.
