Five Stitch Dishcloth

5.0 mm needles (Check out my fave here)
Cotton yarn

Cast on 5 stitches
Knit 8 rows, slipping the first stitch of each row

Now you'll start a double corner:

First part of corner:
slip 1, k3, yarn forward, slip 1 purlwise, yarn back, turn
slip 1 purlwise,yarn back, k4
slip 1, k2, yarn forward, slip 1 purlwise, yarn back, turn
slip 1 purlwise, yarn back, k3
slip 1 ,k1, yarn forward, slip 1 purlwise, yarn back, turn
slip 1 purlwise, yarn back, k2
k1, yarn forward, slip 1 purlwise, yarn back, turn
slip 1 purlwise, yarn back, k1

Second Part of corner:
slip 1, k1, yarn forward, slip 1 purlwise, yarn back, turn
slip 1 purlwise, yarn back, k2
slip 1, k2, yarn forward, slip 1 purlwise, yarn back, turn
slip 1 purlwise, yarn back, k3
slip 1,k3, yarn forward, slip 1 purlwise, yarn back, turn
slip 1 purlwise, yarn back, k4

Now repeat the first and second part of the corner again.

This will complete the first double turn.

Now start this two row pattern until you hit your next corner:
Row 1: slip 1, k3, slip 1, pick up and knit a stitch from the side of the row, pass the slipped stitch over (You should still have 5 stitches)
Row 2: k5

When you hit the next corner, Do the First and Second part of the corner, then resume the two row pattern. Keep doing this until your cloth is of desired length and width. For mine, I went around 3 times and that yielded a 7 x 7 inch cloth.
